Ironically, that has been the one resolution that I have stuck to over the years. The truth is, I made that resolution because I was lazy and didn't want to do homework, and the sabbath was essentially the perfect cover up for a lazy day. That is the main reason why I haven't broken that particular resolution.
However, I've found that it really does recharge the scholastic battery and make it a lot easier to do homework throughout the next week. Since I got home from my mission, I haven't had a late assignment or something that I really couldn't do. Yeah I've certainly had my stressful moments and I've had to wake up early to get things done, but I have never had to pull an all nighter to get an assignment done. It's been a really good decision and something that I don't really plan of changing anytime soon.
That being said, I am thinking about getting up at 7 tomorrow and going to school to work on that technology assignment.....hoorah!
