Today was one of the best days that I've had in quite a while. First off, there's no school, which means no stress about homework getting done once I get home from work. That one thing makes a huge difference.
Also, I worked a full shift today. It was nice to be out working from 8-5 again. But today was great because we all thought we were going to be working really hard getting things ready for the summer tenants, but we would up taking more naps than cleaning apartments. We worked hard cleaning the muti-purpose building (MPB) for about an hour, but after that the boss just didn't have anything for us to do. I quote, "Just chill here for a while guys" and "Go ahead and play another basketball game" and, my personal favorite, "Ok, here's the plan, everybody follow me to the MPB, walk slowly, once we get there take a 10 minute break (we just finished taking a 30 minute break) then unload the chemicals and find something to clean." It was just that great, getting paid to sit under a tree and joke around with my work buddies.
Afterwards, it was date night. We went to Rumbi's grill, which was smashing. Then we found some neat stuff for the reception at DI, while also finding time to fit into these rediculous outfits that we found. I'm sure brooke will post the pictures soon. Then spending the night at Nickle City, and returning home. It was great.
Oh yeah, it hit me really hard today, that...I'm getting married!! It was just the craziest feeling. Yesterday I felt like it was forever so I didn't really worry about it, but now it's just 50 days away! Wow, I'm excited. I seriously cannot wait.
So, put it all together, it was a great day.
