I don't like winter. Or do I?

As a general rule, I don't appreciate winter very much. As in not at all.

However, I have been known to enjoy the occasional wintertime season. This winter has been going pretty good for me. Here are a few reasons why.

Firstly, I'm done with my freshmen days of scholastic repentance. This alone makes me very happy.

Secondly, all my roommates stuck around for another semester of D111 madness. Only this semester they all seem to be getting engaged or dating somebody. I guess when I say they I mean us. Still fun.

And thirdly...oh heck, forget this list. I'll just show you.

Games of find the Y. Only the Y looks just like everything else. My advice? Give yourself a good five seconds to examine the mountain, find the Y, and then declare to all your friends that the game is afoot. I usually win if I adopt that strategy.

Sledding! Yes I know we've been lacking snow for the most part this year, but sledding is about the best thing that winter has to offer. This picture was taken about half an hour before my brain got rocked. Life just hasn't been the same since.

Check this out. Midway Utah. Some guy up there makes these ice castles and invites people to come and see. Admittance is five bucks. The best part about that five dollars is that it goes towards helping a young man get on his mission, and I think we all know how I feel about that. Plus you can go inside them and everything.

Which would then lead me to my personal favorite.

Being inside the ice castles with that one special person who makes winter that much more enjoyable. May I have this dance?

So yes. I'm having a good winter.
